We will look after you in the comfort of your home.

At Peterson Homecare we understand the importance and value of companionship. Having that personal connection is such an essential part of what makes us feel valued, and allows us to feel like we are a part of a family, and broader community.

Unfortunately, It’s very common for our elderly or those with a disability to experience a sense of social isolation and loneliness. Our Companion Care Services are designed to help individuals maintain social networks and relationships, and in turn enable ongoing participation in the community. We endeavor to help people stay connected as social inclusion is a very important part of a balanced lifestyle and overall wellbeing

We understand that everyone has different needs and preferences, so we tailor our services specifically for each individual’s needs by using a person-centered Care Plan. Our Caregivers will always have time to stop and listen, have a chat and share a cuppa during our in-home personal care services and domestic assistance services. However, sometimes this may not be sufficient and Peterson Homecare offers specific companion care services that include:

Regular visits:
The client and their carer can share activities that the client wants to pursue like scrapbooking, photo albums, family tree, current news, favourite books, playing cards or watching a movie;
